Position: Digital Storyteller – Denver Based (in office a minimum of two days per week)
Reports to: VP of Brand Storytelling & Community
Status: Exempt
Hours: 25-30 hours/week
Purpose: You’re a creator at heart and a strategist by instinct. You know how to turn moments into movements using the power of short-form video and compelling visual storytelling. You thrive at the intersection of content creation and platform savvy—where cinematic meets scroll-stopping. Whether it’s a TikTok trend, a YouTube Short, or a behind-the-scenes reel, you know how to craft stories that connect and convert.
Scope: This is more than a content job. As our Digital Storyteller, you’re shaping how the world sees and shares our mission. You’re not just capturing moments—you’re building a movement, one video at a time.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture & Create: Film, edit, and produce short-form videos, reels, and stories that elevate our brand and ignite engagement across digital platforms.
- Maximize Content – Create new ways to ensure all content we create is creatively used across all platforms.
- Platform-First Storytelling: Develop and repurpose content that aligns with the voice, tone, and trends of each channel (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Social + Strategy: Collaborate with the social media team to develop content calendars, support campaigns, and grow audience engagement.
- Manage Influencers – Own the influencer community both logistically and relationally.
- Trend-Tracking: Stay ahead of digital culture and platform updates to keep content relevant, relatable, and
viral-ready. - Brand Guardian: Ensure all content maintains visual consistency, storytelling integrity, and mission alignment.
- Metrics-Driven Creativity: Use performance data to inform future content and optimize what’s working.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- 2- 5 years’ experience in video production, social media content creation, or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and/or mobile editing apps like CapCut).
- A sharp eye for visual composition, storytelling, and emerging media trends.
- Strong grasp of social platforms and how to create platform-native content.
- Passion for storytelling with purpose – especially for mission-driven brands.
- You bring good energy to every project – creative, collaborative, and the kind of person who makes deadlines
feel like a party (almost). - Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MOPS Faith and Values Statement
Bonus Points if You:
- Have experience on both sides of the lens (comfortable filming yourself or directing others).
- Know your way around motion graphics or animation tools.
- Have worked with nonprofits, advocacy orgs, or cause-based brands.
A portfolio or reels of social media work is required for consideration.
Benefits and Pay
Pay Range: $29,900 – $36,000 depending on hours and experience.
