Hey, beautiful soul!

Pull up a chair and grab that cup of something warm. Let’s shuffle aside today’s to-do list and have a heart-to-heart — the kind that feels like a warm embrace on those days when the jelly fingerprints on the walls seem like modern art, and you can’t find a single matching sock in the laundry pile (seriously, where do they go?).

Can we talk about worth for a sec? Not the kind that’s measured by Pinterest-perfect birthday parties (because how do those moms do it?!) or by mastering the art of hiding veggies in literally everything — but the deep, unshakable worth we find in Jesus.

The truth is, sweet friend, in the beautiful, but often bumpy journey of motherhood, it’s easy to lose sight of our value amid the endless cycle of feedings, carpools and spelling tests. Somewhere between the diaper changes and waving goodbye on the first day of school, we might wonder: Am I doing enough? Am I enough?

Let me share a little story. There was this day when I felt like I was flunking motherhood 101. The house was a mess, I burnt dinner (again), and I just couldn’t shake the thought that I was not the mom my kiddos deserved. Then, in the quiet of their sleep — because let’s be real, that’s when the deep thoughts hit — I stumbled upon a verse that wrapped around my heart like the coziest blanket: “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” (Proverbs 31:25)

Wow, right? In that moment, something shifted. It wasn’t about being supermom; it was about being His daughter, clothed in strength and dignity, not because I mastered the art of the perfect lunchbox, but because He sees me — sees us — as worthy, precious and oh-so-loved.

Finding worth in Jesus is like discovering your own secret superpower. When we’re anchored in who He says we are, suddenly the comparison game, the mom guilt, and all those little whispers of doubt lose their grip. We’re not just moms; we’re warriors, chosen and equipped by the King of Kings to nurture these little lives He’s entrusted to us. And that, my amazing friend, is where our true worth lies.

Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s the kind of truth that gets me through the 3 a.m. feedings and the mystery laundry stains (seriously, what is that?). It’s the kind of love that empowers us to rise above the chaos and whisper, “I am enough,” because the One who created the entire universe believes we’re up to this incredible task of motherhood.

So, here’s the thing, when those moments of doubt creep in (and they will because, hey, we’re beautifully human), let’s remind each other that our worth isn’t hanging on the hook behind the aprons splattered with yesterday’s spaghetti sauce. It’s secured in Jesus, forever and for always.

Wrap yourself in that grace, dear friend. You are precious, you are mighty, and in His eyes, you are rocking this mom thing with all the glory and honor it deserves.

Keep shining, keep loving, keep leaning into that incredible worth He’s placed in you. We’re on this journey together, after all, cups in hand, hearts lifted, and souls anchored in the One who calls us beloved.

Sending so much love and a double shot of encouragement your way. 💕
