“I have been a part of MomCo for over 10 years now. We lived in 7 different states during my first year as a mom, and I found MomCo groups all over the US—for the sake of community.”
Lila’s journey reflects exactly why MomCo exists—to provide connection, faith, and belonging to moms everywhere, no matter their circumstances. When her family settled in Alexandria, Louisiana, she found deeper purpose by joining and later leading the MomCo group at Calvary Baptist Church.
“Then in 2018, the Lord brought us back home to Georgia, and in 2020 I knew that I was missing community.”
So, Lila did something bold. With three boys at home and a newborn in her arms, she launched a new MomCo group at First Conyers with just five moms. It was small, but it mattered deeply.
“I am a boy mom of 3. And after serving as coordinator for 2 years, I now serve as Finance Coordinator for our group. I am thankful for our group because it’s my connection to other women.”
Lila’s story is one of thousands—moms leading other moms, building local communities of faith and friendship. But it also highlights the need: Many moms are still searching for what Lila found.
“I hope that any mom out there searching for community can find a MomCo group near them. I would love to see more groups available all over the US so that anyone longing for that community can join in.”
Your support helps make that vision possible. With more donors like you, we can equip more women like Lila to step into leadership, start new groups, and reach moms everywhere with the love of Jesus.
