Have you ever thought about leading an Online Meetup? It’s simpler — and more impactful — than you might imagine.
As a MomCo member, you’re not only welcome to join any of our Online Meetups — you can also start and lead one of your own. Whether it’s focused on a topic you’re passionate about, a stage of motherhood you relate to, or even a geographic area, Online Meetups are a powerful and flexible way to build the community you’ve been looking for.
You set the schedule: the day, time, and duration are all up to you. You can choose a short, focused series (like four sessions) or keep things open-ended. We make hosting easy by providing a Zoom room, sending meeting reminders, and even designing a custom graphic to help promote your group. You’ll also get access to helpful leader tools, group messaging, and your attendee list. When it comes to content, you can use one of our MomCo resources or bring your own.
Whether you’re ready to start next month or want to wait until after summer, launching an Online Meetup is a meaningful way to support and connect with moms — right where they are. Moms everywhere are looking for authentic connection. Maybe they’re looking for someone like you.
Here are just a few examples of Online Meetups hosted in the past year:
- Dry January: Examining our relationship with alcohol
- Bible Basics: Learning more about the Bible in a low-pressure space
- Beyond Measure: A group for moms raising children with special needs
- Good Work: A space for working moms
- Declutter with Faith: Clearing out physical and spiritual clutter
- Advanced Maternal Age Mamas: Connecting moms who had children later in life
- Finding the Hero in Your Husband: Strengthening marriage through discussion
- MomCo Book Club: Connecting through literature
There’s truly no limit to the variety of Online Meetup topics. If you’re passionate about something and want to connect with other moms who share that passion, we’d love to help you get started.
